We hosted an event at Beeston square on Saturday 20th June, between 9am and 4pm. We provided entertainment in the form of tennis, football, arts and crafts, learning to juggle and much more.
We were run wild, chasing balls and entertaining the children (and adults) who dropped by.
This taster day allowed local residents to enjoy just a few of the activities which we provide as part of our Activity camps during school holidays.
We also provided healthy snacks, in line with our support for Change4life, as well as water to keep the thirsty children hydrated. The Change4life campaign suggests that children have 60 active minutes a day and we showed them some of the activities they can enjoy to get them moving whilst having fun!
