The Activeace Junior Program is split into two sections, according to age.The Mini Program for juniors aged up to 10 years and the Activeace Academy, for those aged 10 and over.
Mini Tennis Program
Mini Tennis Red (5-8 years)
Mini Tennis Orange (8-9 years)
Mini Tennis Green (10 years)
Mini Tennis Red (5-8 years)
Mini Tennis Red is the first level of the program, where juniors begin their tennis development.
At this stage they will use 19-21 inch rackets and mini red tennis balls (these are much softer than normal tennis balls), allowing the children to develop their game in the most effective way. The children also play on a reduced size court, which is the same size as a badminton court.
They will progress onto mini tennis orange groups according to their rate of improvement and their age.
Mini Tennis Orange (8-9 years)
Mini Tennis Orange is the second level in the mini tennis structure, which juniors move onto following their completion of Mini Tennis Red.
At this stage they will use 23-25 inch rackets and mini orange tennis balls (slightly more bouncy compared to the mini red balls but still much softer than normal tennis balls). The juniors will now play on a court that is ¾ the size of a full singles tennis court.
They will progress onto mini tennis green according to their rate of improvement and their age.
Mini Tennis Green (10 years)
Mini Tennis Green is the final stage in the mini tennis structure, which juniors move onto following completion of Mini Tennis Orange.
At this stage they will use 25-26 inch rackets and mini green tennis balls (bouncier than orange balls but still slightly softer than normal tennis balls and move more slowly through the air). The juniors will now play on a full singles tennis court.
They will progress onto the Activeace academy or other full tennis groups according to their rate of improvement and their age.
